Flamingo is a women’s dance and fitness studio in Hollywood, Florida, founded by Oksana Diakonova. Eight years in, it’s still a small room on purpose: real coaching, four languages, and a backyard that’s part of how we train.

Opened in 2019. Still a small room.
Oksana Diakonova opened Flamingo Dance & Fitness Studio in Hollywood in 2019. Eight years later, it’s still small on purpose. The coaching stays close, and the room hasn’t tried to become a chain.
People come for pole, heels, belly dance, hip hop, TRX, and stretching. They stay because the same place also holds birthdays, moms with their kids, and a backyard that’s part of class, not just a patio out back.
Classes are taught in English, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian. You shouldn’t have to translate a correction in the middle of a combo.

What the studio actually is
The founder
Oksana Diakonova. The studio still runs as the room she opened, not as a brand that outgrew the neighborhood.
The languages
English, Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian. Four languages in one studio, so a new student can be coached in the language they think in.
The rooms
A bright indoor studio for dance, pole, and fitness, and a 3,229 sq ft backyard with a canopy, outdoor cooling, a patio, and a playground.
How you join
No required membership. Your first group class is free. After that, you book the class you want.
If you've never been
The studio is at 727 S 21st Ave, Hollywood, FL 33020, with free parking next to the building. Come a few minutes early. If you want to see the rooms before a class, the space page has the indoor studio, the backyard, and videos of real classes.

How long has Flamingo been open?
Since 2019. The studio is in its eighth year in Hollywood.
Is the backyard part of class, or only for parties?
Both. Fitness and Flamingo Moms train out there, and the same yard can be reserved for a party.
